Girolamo Giuseppe, 30,  listed as a crew member on the missing list. He was actually staff, a drummer in a band, who was contracted aboard Carnival Corp's, Costa Cruises' Costa Concordia when he died after the cruise ship grounded off the coast of Giglio, Italy on Friday the 13, January 13, 2012.

At one point, Giuseppe was in a lifeboat, but gave his seat up for a child and remained aboard Concordia. His family and friends posted Missing Posters around the island of Giglio, hoping he had made it to shore.

The captain of Concordia took the cruise ship too close to shore, it grounded on a reef, ripping a massive hole in the hull of the ship, leaving a huge rock embedded in the hull. Lower compartments began to flood, causing the ship to list severely.
