Linda Flowe, 60 – Natural Causes, Carnival Victory Passenger, October 7, 2008, Time of Death is unknown’
Cruise ship passenger Linda Johnson (Taylor) Flowe, 60, from Upper Marlboro, Maryland and the Washington DC area, was sailing aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Constellation when she passed away on October 7, 2008 while Carnival Victory was sailing from Norfolk, Virignia to the Caribbean.
Flowe was feeling short of breath when she went to the infirmary. She died after while the vessel was underway, bound for Nassau, Bahamas. Her body was removed in Nassau. Flowe was a retired official with the D.C. government’s old Youth Services Administration. Ms. Johnson-Flowe worked for many years as a supervisor in the acquisitions office of what is now called the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services. She retired in 2004.
She was born Linda Taylor in Washington and was known to friends and family as Poochie. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in the District and attended Norfolk State University. Throughout her youth and frequently in later years, she worked at the family produce busines.
