Princess Cruises Coral Princess cruise ship passenger jumped overboard from Deck 9 on May 11, 2016. The passenger was staying in a mini-suite cabin D-614 on the Dolphin Deck when CCTV cameras witnessed him jumping overboard from the cabin balcony as the cruise ship was sailing off to coast of California sailing towards Vancouver when the incident took place.
Coral Princess embarked from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on April 17, 2016 on a 15-day re-positioning cruise, sailing through the Panama Canal, arriving Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Los Angeles, California and was on the second leg of the re-positioning cruise, a 4 Night Pacific Coastal cruise to To Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to begin the summer Alaska cruise season.
After arriving in Victoria, British Columbia, a Canadian CSI team boarded the Coral Princess and did a complete investigation in the cabin and interviewed the crew. The man’s name has not been released at this time. No body has been found at this time.
