Terry Andres, Cruise Ship Passenger Murdered, Terrorist Attack in Ft Lauderdale Airport January 6, 2017, Time of Death 12:50
On January 6, 2017, at approximately 12:56 p.m., Terry Andres, 62, a cruise ship passenger from Virginia Beach, Virginia was in the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida when Esteban Santiago pulled out a handgun from his check luggage and began firing randomly in the airport terminal. Terry Andres was killed during the terrorist shooting.
Andres and wife Ann, a travel agent, were in the terminal together. He worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard and had volunteered with the local fire department since 2004, working as a support technician for the Oceana Volunteer Fire Department in Virginia Beach.
