John Mack Musson, 72, from Bolingbrook, Illinois, was on a Princess Cruises’ Regal Princess Caribbean cruise, with his wife Janice of 26 years marriage, when he suddenly died during the cruise on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
Regal Princess sailed from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on a 7-day Caribbean cruise on Sunday, February 21, 2016. The cruise ship called at Princess Cays, Bahamas the next day. Regal Princess then sailed towards Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands for docking on February 24. Musson died from natural causes while sailing towards Saint Thomas.
Musson, was a retired U.S. Navy veteran, who graduated with a BS from Bemidji State University with a degree in Technology and Engineering. He worked for 31 years as a Senior Field Service Engineer and as a Field Training Manager with Rockwell Automation.
