Marjorie Katherine (Handy) Cromer, 75, from Orlando, Florida passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in a Miami, Florida hotel. She was planning to board Norwegian Getaway that day for a one-week cruise with husband, Ed Cromer.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren! Since moving to Florida in 2007, Marj and Ed went on many cruises, one of her great enjoyments in life. On two transatlantic cruises they spent considerable time at La Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, Spain, returning the second time to spend an entire day at that Cathedral.
Marj taught various grades in public schools of Montana, California and Nevada until 1995. Marj was an excellent cook and managed food preparation and service for several National swim meets in California, delivering 1,500 meals per day for several days. For one church dinner she made 700 crepes and never made them again. She also tested new recipes on the public for Test Kitchens in California.
Her passion was supporting her children and grandchildren in their endeavors such as theater, cheerleading, football, baseball, soccer, gymnastics and swimming.
