Margaret White Cruise Ship Passenger Death – On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Margaret White, 64, from Beragh, Northern Ireland passed away. White died from septicaemia while cruising with her husband William for her 65th birthday during a Viking River Cruise in Slovakia. She passed away at a hospital in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Septicemia is a serious bloodstream infection. It’s also known as bacteremia, or blood poisoning.
During her funeral at Clogherney Presbyterian Church in Beragh, Northern Ireland, the Rev Norman Smyth described her as a “warm, practical and spiritual woman”.
Mrs White is remembered by the church as “a lady who loved all the little children of the congregation by looking after the cradle roll and remembering their birthdays”.
